"Seven Things Buhari/Osinbajo will do" - APC Campaign team

"Chess-Master 2015, said "Decisions have consequences", he is right.

Professor Yemi Osinbajo, a non-executive member of the famous Citi-group is now Nigeria's Vice-President, The VP was one of the Speakers for Poju Oyemade's May 1st workers' day jaw-jaw in Abuja under The PLATFORM at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) International Conference Centre, Jahi. The Vice President in that event narrated a journey he had with the President Muhammadu Buhari during the recently concluded political campaigns. Inside the car, the VP was asked, "What can you see on their faces?" Excitement! the VP replied. "No.", PMB told him, "Look again?" he urge, and again the VP replied "They are happy, that's why they are shouting "sey Baba! sey Chanji.". And again PMB says, "No, What is on their faces is that they expect us to solve all their problems in two (2) days when we come in!"

It was from this background that Professor Osinbajo, Vice President Federal Republic of Nigeria began his talk, "This Country needs immediate fixing... With change comes very high expectation... Nigeria needs one stop shop as solution point... Our people are completely cut off from the main stream of governance."

The VP sure knows this country and fervently believes that the creation and management of industrial parks, technological parks/gardens and righting the wrongs in the entertainment industry as well as protecting copyrights will be his focus. Aside his personal inclination, the present government promise to deliver on 7(seven) key issues during their campaigns. In what it called "Seven Things Buhari/Osinbajo will do" the APC campaign team categorically placed:

-  the creation of 740,000 jobs within the first one year, graduates will be paid stipends for 1year under a vocational scheme where they will be trained on entrepreneurial and work place readiness.

- It said it will provide Universal Basic Healthcare with N500 naira annual contribution per family in the National Health Insurance Scheme(NHIS) while "APC Government pays the balance.

- Among other things the campaign promise of one meal a day for children in public primary schools while their parents are to receive monthly direct cash transfer of NGN5,000 to "25 million poorest and most vulnerable citizens, if they immunize children and enroll them in school"

- The government, it said will generate, transmit and distribute electricity on a 24/7 basis whilst simultaneously ensuring the development of sustainable/renewable energy by 2019.

- lastly, the campaign promises Nigerians if brought to power, "will embark on a National Infrastructural Development Programme as a public private partnership that will ensure 5,000km of superhighway including service trunks

- as well as building of up to 6,800km of modern railway to be completed in 2019

- and the completion of commercial airports in all the 36 states.

The promise indeed is great and between Professor Yemi Osinbajo and President Muhammadu Buhari is packed the dynamite that will either bloom or burst.

Please this is not another 7-Points Agenda, we mean 7 Key Issues! Can you spot the difference?

We hope that this decision works for the good of all.

NYBLS 2015 - WHY TINAPA?

"The Cross River State remains the most enterprising state in the country, in terms of building an economy fueled by tourism. Its Tinapa Project remains one of the biggest projects of its kind on the continent, and with rapid development ongoing at the Summit Hills, the state's solid reputation for world class tourism is well grounded and rooted, like an oak tree with expansive roots"
- Solomom Elusoji, ThisDay may 27, 2015

Tinapa is abandoned. The idea, to export structures incapable of directly impacting the people it is designed for, makes grand ideas like Tinapa a "Black Elephant Project".

The reason that Tinapa is an international edifice for enterprise makes it key in our search to raise the dead, do the almost impossible, raise local awareness and drive entrepreneurial traffic to Tinapa to make it attractive to tourism, the main stay of the state of Cross River.

Between Tinapa and Summit Hills, is a perfect setting for entrepreneur explosion that will set the tone for the development of "Ideas-Park", "Production-Lines", "Industrial Parks", like the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo put it, "Edifice such as this, will be a 'One Stop Solution Point", because as he said "with change comes very high expectation..."

Our expectations from Tinapa is for it to live to its billing - provide Tinapa the needed human traffic to fuel Cross River State tourism with a bias in entrepreneurial activities, in other words, make Enterprise the core reason for tourism.

From 2007, the government said it struggled quite a bit with "trying to crack the Tinapa debacle, because according to some of the things that should have been in place were not in place at the time."

What the government according to Nzan Ogbe did was to create a support; "so what we needed to do was create a steady flow of traffic, because that is the only challenge that Tinapa has."

BEgroup Professionals have assessed the potentials of the "Enterprise Monument" called Tinapa, a brain-child of Donald Duke, a former governor of the state and wager that the idea should be grounded into the psyche of our youths to raise the much desired Entrepreneurial Empowerment to transform our National Economic lifestyle.

Why Tinapa?
It is an Entrepreneurial haven beginning September 27, 2015; 800 youths from all over the 774 Local Government, 360 councils, 36 states of the Federation comprising the six-geopolitical zone of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, will meet at TINAPA, Nigeria's Entrepreneurial Monument to breed the seed that will see the future and take action to work for posterity.

BEgroup Professionals conducts DAT

BEgroup Professionals today 27 August, 2015 conducts the Delegate Aptitude Test (DAT) at the Barcelona Hoyel Wuse II Abuja, as part of her programmes leading to the 2nd National Youth Business and Leadership Summit coming up in Calabar at the Tinapa Business Resort.

In a welcome address titled "As we host our Delegates in-waiting", the Chief Coordinating Officer of the NYBLS2015, Morah Emmanuel states that the National Bureau of Statistics yearly estimates of jobs created is 1.4million, cutting across several sectors through different programmes. "Our mandate as a group is to ensure that more people come on-board as "Job-Creators" machine to expand and sustain our economy, instead of Job-Seeking derelicts.

As a group, Mr Morah said their desire is to encourage young Nigerians with good minds and "great ideas" to become Entrepreneurs by providing them with persons, right circumstance and a convivial environment supported by relevant institutions to actualize their personal work.

Professor P. O. Donli, one of the Speaker for the 2nd National Youth Business and Leadership Summit at the event advised would-be delegates to return to Tinapa, venue of the NYBLS2015 with a mentality to fill in what she calls "The needs-gap". In similar development, BEgroup Professionals consultant and patron, Mr Moses Akaezer implored delegates to hold on which he simply meant Job-Creator not Job-Seekers.

The President and Executive Director, Honourable Quadri-adu S. Kehinde of Alliance Africa Sustainability whose motto is "Africa must survive" was on hand to discuss with some of his members who are also taking part in the Delegate Aptitude Test. He expressed confidence in the criteria used for selecting the delegates.

Delegates in waiting, received an invite to be among the 800 Entrepreneurs that will gather at Tinapa, Calabar this September.

THE SEARCH FOR ECONOMIC NATIONALISTS - BEgroup Professionals

“Unless we improve our bedrock of skills,
we are in for a struggle to keep our place on
the global stage”, -John Crisland

Colonialism is no longer our bane, political nationalism that gave the great African orators and statesmen such as Kwame Nkrumah, Nnandi Azikiwe, Nelson Mandela who bestride the landscape of African political terrain like colossus have done their bids.

Nnandi Azikiwe, the “Zik of Africa “ made it clear that a people must produced a few at every epoch to champion their cause when he stated that:

“Any nation that lacks the spirit of hero worship is incapable of
great achievement. For it is at the alter of the veneration of a great
soul that seed for a greater achievement is germinated”.
 - Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe

A look into why nations have attained any form of greatness is most often traced to the activities of a single person in history whose contributions and impact cannot be overlook.

The Isrealites, Jesus, Britain, Wilson Churchill, America George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jnr, F.D Rosevelt too many to mention,
Arabs, Prophet Mohammed, France Charles – De – Gaul, Indian – Indira Ghandhi, China – Chairman Mao Tse Sung. Most of this champions have one thing in common, the ability to communicate their stand very effectively to their followers to engender appropriate reaction to carry out progressive actions that can impact on the national feelings of the people concerned.

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu of the Ikemba of Nnewi in Nigeria got close to becoming such a speech Hero but for his sectional learning.

The time for political nationalism in Africa is almost wearing out; the present challenge of defining our home grown participatory government is claiming its victims and all manners of local and international meditative solutions are proffered. To this end, Nigeria’s former senate, president has made it very clear that no nation can stamped another nation to adopt their solutions as their solution when he states;

“People want to tell us how to run our own democracy in this country.
There is no democracy from another place and super imposed on any country…
I think we should fashion our own democracy to suit our culture and to suit
our custom”. - Senator David Mark

The idea of our “home grown democracy” has been there for long and has been muted by various African leaders as the only panacea to a strong vibrant government in any African state. It takes a completely artificial (simulation) to grow apples on African soil.

Speakers for Economic Nationalism must begin to emerge, Mr Adagbo Onoja, a Special Adviser to former Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State, on media affairs is agreeable to the fact that;

“… the enlightened management of capitalist modernization that
Yaradua seems to be promising deserve the support of all forces of
economic nationalism. Because that is where the future of an African
country like Nigeria lies, not in speculative accumulation model”.
-Adagbo Onoja

To spearhead this paradigm shift, a new class of individuals and groups must emerge. They are merchants and traders in the “intangibles” or “knowledge-workers”, they are speakers, the new catalyst that will power Entrepreneurial Empowerment for Development to meet our economic demand by the year 2020.

“Unless we improve our bedrock of skills,
we are in for a struggle to keep our place on the global stage”,
-John Crisland

This is the word of John Crisland the Deputy Director-General of CBI. The sure way to improve skills is through effective communication using appropriate presentations.

Adolf Hitler stumble on the secrete of effective presentation when he said “to the majority I speak with emotion, to the few I speak with reason, for men go to war much more out of emotions than reason”

Nigeria and Africa is in dire need of speakers to spearhead the evolution of a super-human infrastructure to become hero of economic nationalism. So far the former governor of Nigerian’s Central Bank Mr Soludo use to be the lone voice that is heard all over the world because of his vantage position of knowing the problem of why we are the way we are as a people. Even so, some of his moves are either permanently destroyed or forever check-mated.

We need more voices because according to him;

“For Nigeria to make rapid progress in the quest
to become the China of Africa, it has to run at extraordinary
SPEED in the creation, adaptation of relevant institutions”.
- Chukwuma Soludo

At BEgroup Professionals  we are of the opinion that “The era of speculative buccaneer capitalists” has given way to “Economic Nationalists”. and as part of this design, we have launched out a man-hunt for 800 strong youth entrepreneurs this September to conglomerate at the Tinapa Lake-side Business Resort to raise the bar in entrepreneurial discuss under the theme: Entrepreneurial Empowerment for Development Towards National Transformation,: Options and Strategy
