NYBLS 2015 - WHY TINAPA?

"The Cross River State remains the most enterprising state in the country, in terms of building an economy fueled by tourism. Its Tinapa Project remains one of the biggest projects of its kind on the continent, and with rapid development ongoing at the Summit Hills, the state's solid reputation for world class tourism is well grounded and rooted, like an oak tree with expansive roots"
- Solomom Elusoji, ThisDay may 27, 2015

Tinapa is abandoned. The idea, to export structures incapable of directly impacting the people it is designed for, makes grand ideas like Tinapa a "Black Elephant Project".

The reason that Tinapa is an international edifice for enterprise makes it key in our search to raise the dead, do the almost impossible, raise local awareness and drive entrepreneurial traffic to Tinapa to make it attractive to tourism, the main stay of the state of Cross River.

Between Tinapa and Summit Hills, is a perfect setting for entrepreneur explosion that will set the tone for the development of "Ideas-Park", "Production-Lines", "Industrial Parks", like the Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo put it, "Edifice such as this, will be a 'One Stop Solution Point", because as he said "with change comes very high expectation..."

Our expectations from Tinapa is for it to live to its billing - provide Tinapa the needed human traffic to fuel Cross River State tourism with a bias in entrepreneurial activities, in other words, make Enterprise the core reason for tourism.

From 2007, the government said it struggled quite a bit with "trying to crack the Tinapa debacle, because according to some of the things that should have been in place were not in place at the time."

What the government according to Nzan Ogbe did was to create a support; "so what we needed to do was create a steady flow of traffic, because that is the only challenge that Tinapa has."

BEgroup Professionals have assessed the potentials of the "Enterprise Monument" called Tinapa, a brain-child of Donald Duke, a former governor of the state and wager that the idea should be grounded into the psyche of our youths to raise the much desired Entrepreneurial Empowerment to transform our National Economic lifestyle.

Why Tinapa?
It is an Entrepreneurial haven beginning September 27, 2015; 800 youths from all over the 774 Local Government, 360 councils, 36 states of the Federation comprising the six-geopolitical zone of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, will meet at TINAPA, Nigeria's Entrepreneurial Monument to breed the seed that will see the future and take action to work for posterity.
